Restaurant Boston Baru, Klang (Revisit)

Where to eat when you go to Klang? For me, the answer definitely is Restaurant Boston Baru. I like their 'Shu Fen Kang' and the 'Steamed LaLa' so much.

The signature dish in this restaurant - steamed LaLa... a bit spicy on that day but the aroma of the white wine is really Fantastic!Tapioca Starch Noodles (Shu Fen Kang), very chewy and tasty!'Wat Tan Hor'

Mantis Prawn, the taste is jz normal for me and nothing to shout about.

Laksa Kelang Lama, Kulim

So sorry to my readers that i din't update my blog since few weeks ago. I'm so busy with my jobs and felt so tired till don't wish to on the pc. Some of my friends complaint that why i didn't on my msn for so long time. Frens, I'm really sorry about that. Hope you all can understand about it, k?

Went back to hometown to celebrated my granpa's birthday on last few weeks ago. Laksa Kelang Lama, is a place that i must go when i back to Kulim. This is the hang out place of me and my cousins at there.
The most famous laksa in Kulim. Which is in Kelang Lama or in Hokkien, ‘Lau Hui Kar’. It is nearby SJK(C) Kelang Lama.
The Laksa is totally different from that sold in other places. You can taste the sweetness of the fish in the soup and not so spicy compare with other.
To accompany the hot and steaming bowl laksa, definitely would be a bowl of icy cold Ice Kacang. It is a normal and almost traditional ice kacang. But what I found special about is their ice. The texture is very smooth and soft. The peanuts in the ice kacang are fresh and fragrant.
Crispy 'Prawn Cracker'.

Chong Ko's Hakka Mee @ Pandan Indah

Went to this Chong Ko's Hakka Mee @ Pandan Indah for our lunch which was recommended by Kenny before Mayyi back to Melaka on that day.
Chong Ko's Hakka Mee, is a shoplot that just opposite Steven's Corner.
Chong Ko's Hakka Mee with minced meat and a bowl of fishball.

This hakka mee is totally different with what I had tried before. The hakka mee that I'd taste before was just like wantan mee but Chong Ko's Hakka Mee is made by the tauke. The texture of the mee was like Pan Mee and my stomach was so full after finish a bowl of mee. Hah...

Restaurant Boston Baru, Klang

Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri to all my malay frens! Maaf Zahir & Batin! Spent my whole day with my lovely family on yesterday and we just eat eat and eat. Alamak! My spare tyre want to come out already...ngek ngek!

Morning, we had a simple breakfast and start our journey to Pulau Ketam. We never been there before so we took this chance to walk around at there. Huh...so so so...many people and what I can said is 'kelam kabut'. Some more, the weather is Hot, hot, hot!
I can tell you this may be my 1st time to there and may be the last time.

Just spent few hours at there and we dun wish to stay at there anymore. We back to Klang and go shopping in Jusco Bukit Tinggi .

We went to this Restaurant Boston Baru at Klang for our dinner. We arrived around 7.30pm and the crowd was tremendously good! We had to wait almost 1 hour for our food.

1st dish that arrived is this 'Hokkien Mee'. Taste good and there's a lot of the 'fried pork oil'
Dang dang dang dang....The signature dish, Steamed Lala. The Lala cooked in white wine, plenty of ginger and chilli padi. The soup with the garlic bits and the aroma of the white wine, is simply heavenly. You can see this dish in every table.
Another must try at here...'Tapioca Starch Noodles(Shu Fen Kang)', Good taste!
'Fried Sotong' The taste is just normal and nothing to shout out.
The bill comes to RM55 bucks inclusive of drinks. Yummy....
~Boston Baru is just right opposite to Kamdar and i think is same row with the Lembaga
Tabung Haji.~
~Opening Hours - around 6.30pm~

Fish Head MeeHoon @ Jln Sikamat

We decided to walk around in Seremban due to nothing to do on last weekend. We went to Jusco @ S.2 and there was a crowd of people.Oh no...took around 20minutes to find for a car park. It's totally same with the Jusco @Cheras Selatan. We shop at there for 1hr++.

Then we took our dinner in Jalan Sikamat coz someone told my dad that the Fish Head Meehoon was famous at there.

We choose to visit the Restaurant 'LK' coz it's looks crowded.
3 in 1. Priced @ RM24.00. It's a combination of 3 chicken wings stuffed with fish paste, 5 pieces of fried fishball and 5 pieces of 'taufu pok' with salad sauce. My little sis gave thumb up to this dish. For me, the taste is just normal and a bit expensive.
This is the Fish Head MeeHoon. The most famous dish and what every table had ordered in this restaurant. Priced @ RM18.00 for large portion. After tried for it, honestly to say that the soup was too hot and spicy. It's too much of pepper in the soup and spoilt the taste. According to what my parents had told me, the fish head is not fresh and a bit over fried.Oh no! Hopefully i do not like to eat fried fish head.

We were so regret to order the large portion coz we had to force ourselves to finish it in the end. I've got a handmade fish ball and the texture was not Q at all. Aiks! 'Handmade'

This is 'fatt boot'. Fried Yam with spicy brown cuttlefish @ RM18.00. I'm not so impress by the taste, but yet acceptable.

After finished all the dishes, I just wondering why this restaurant was crowded. The dinner total cost us @ RM60++ included the drinks. I'm sure that we'll not come again anymore. We more prefer the Fish Head Meehoon in Pudu and Taman Segar.

We found that there's another restaurant selling Fish Head Meehoon at the other corner when we were going back. Oh...maybe this restaurant will better than what we had tried just now. :-(
